• LOCAL OWNERSHIP/TEAM: president Dustin Smith is a Lakeland, TN, business owner and resident, accountable to a board represented by local Mid-South business leaders.
• INDEPENDENT 501(c)(3): Verified tax-deductible donations, per the IRS and Charity Navigator
• % OF DONATIONS: 70% of donated dollars appropriated toward financial gifts for the individuals or organizations chosen by the 901 Gives board. Neither Smith nor board members receive any personal compensation from donations.
